Bertha Gleske Dudley, age 92, of Somerset, KY (formerly from Petersburg, MI) went to be with the Lord on January 26, 2018. Born February 8, 1925 in Chardon, OH, she was the daughter of Gottlieb and Emma (Netzel) Gleske and raised by her Uncle and Aunt, Gus and Bertha (Luther) Gleske. Bertha married her beloved husband Dr. Carl Kenneth Dudley on August 14, 1948. They graduated from the Missionary Medical Program at Moody Bible Institute in 1952. Bertha enjoyed being a homemaker as well as being active as Sunday school teacher, librarian, missions board member and deaconess for 40 years at First Baptist Church, now Bridgepoint Church in Temperance, MI. Bertha served in the Lucas County Jail, Toledo, OH, ministering to inmates for 20 years. In the past five years she organized weekly devotional speakers at The Neighborhood Assisted Living Facility where she lived. Bertha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loyal friend. She truly loved the Lord Jesus and desired to put him first in her life.

Bertha is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Carl Kenneth Dudley of 64 years, sisters, Elsie Rychak, Alma Gleske, Gladys Hackett, and brother George Gleske. She is survived by her siblings Eleanor Mandau, Gus Gleske and Lillian Kochis, her children Ken (Janice) Dudley, Dan (Sylvia) Dudley, and Sharon (Steve) Stoneman, grandchildren Dan Dudley, Cherilyn (Pete) Larsen, Lisa (Shane) Lee, Jonathan (Sara) Dudley, Heather (Tyler) Amburgy, Loralee (Philip) Carrel and Joshua Stoneman. She has eight great grandchildren with number nine due in June.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:00am Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI.  www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
